Name: The
eagle has always been a symbol of power and agility. The scriptures
refer to the persons who allow God to work in their lives as being able
to soar on wings like eagles, renew their strength, run and not grow
weary, and walk and not be faint. When a life is in submission to
Christ, these things do happen. For this reason, the chapel has been
named Eagle Ministries Chapel. We are a body of people living in
Christ, finding power in Him and ministering to others so that they may
find Christ and His power.
Logo: Our
logo can be seen inside the chapel or sometimes in the front window. It
is an eagle sitting on a globe of the earth, holding a fish in its
talon.
The
logo represents three things: 1). The eagle represents who we are
through Christ, and the power we have to change things. 2). The world
represents the command that Christ gave when He told His disciples to go
into all the world, after the power of the Holy Spirit Came upon them,
and declare His message. That message is being declared from this Chapel
and, 3). The fish represents the message Christ gave to His disciples
that they would become fishers of men. Therefore, as Christ gives us
power, we are to go into the world and become fishers of men, telling
them about the saving knowledge of Christ. |
